To apply, one must meet the following criteria:
- Business must be founded or co-founded by a Ghanaian woman above
18 years, with an equal or majority stake. - Be a tech start-up or applying technology in your
- At least 12 months in operation
- Ghana-based business aligned to the needs of
Ghanaians or those operating in Ghana. - Key persons of the business must be available to undertake the incubation programme
The application deadline is 15th March 2023
- Access to business guidance and resources for business development
- Skills development opportunities like world-class entrepreneurship classes, workshops, and other business training opportunities
- Opportunity to tap into a strong network of business partners and peers with whom you can consult, collaborate, learn, and grow.
- Specialized mentoring support from seasoned entrepreneurs and experienced professionals
- Greater access to investors, and financial guidance.
- Funding opportunities in the form of the cedi equivalent of a $10,000 grant for the top five finalists
The prize money can be used to develop your technology in a way that will help to grow your business.
The programme begins on 15th May 2023, starting with the induction of cohort 3
The programme ends on 21st August 2023 after running for 9 months.

The programme is implemented by the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre (GCIC). The Ghana Climate Innovation Centre is a pioneering business incubator with a unique focus of developing sustainable enterprises and climate-responsive SME ventures and entrepreneurs in Ghana. Their mission is to develop and support an exceptional set of transformational ventures and entrepreneurs who are pioneering innovation and adaptive or mitigating solutions for economic resilience and climate change issues in Ghana.
